Yo Ho Yo Ho a foodies life for me! Magic Kingdom is about to drop anchor on a brand-new, highly anticipated dining experience: The Beak and Barrel! This lively pirate pub, tucked back in Adventureland, will be opening officially to guest on August 29, 2025. Reservations to The Beak and Barrel will open just a week prior on August 20, 2025. Get ready to immerse yourself in an adventure across the Seven Seas that has thirst-quenching tropical beverages, delicious small bites, and even more surprises.  Â

A Swashbuckling Backstory and Immersive Design
The Beak and Barrel isn't just a place to grab a bite, but it includes a storyline with many immersive elements. The tavern was established by the legendary pirate rumrunner, Captain Meridian "Merry" Goldwyn, and her trusty, talkative first mate, Rummy. Long-time Disney fans will seem like they've seen Rummy before. He actually looks very similar to the original Barker Bird that used to be on the iconic Pirates of the Caribbean attraction. Rummy will be watching over the bar on a perch to make sure no shenanigans occur within the bar.
Once you step inside, you will find yourself transported into a world crafted from salvaged ship parts and pirate tales. The main dining area in The Beak and Barrel was once a mess hall for Spanish soldiers and so Disney decided to appropriately name this area, "The Mess." In this area of the pub, long communal tables invite pirates to gather and share their own high-seas adventures. This area has beautiful decorations to make you feel like a real pirate including an anchor above with candles and dripping wax, a bar cobbled together with shipwreck remains, and a skull shaped stern holding a collection of rum, grog, and other drinks. Keep an eye out for the Enchanted Rum Bottle, rumored to be a gift to Merry from the enchantress Tia Dalma, and the source of the tavern's specialty concoctions.  Â
For a taste of the finer pirate life, guests are able to venture into the "Captains' Quarters," which was formerly the elegant living space of a Spanish Comandante. Despite its refined past, the artwork and drapery bear the marks of rambunctious pirates – slashes, burn marks, and faded spots where plundered portraits once hung. Above the fireplace, five miniature ships in glass bottles are mounted, rumored to represent pirates uniting against tyranny.  Â
A Treasure Chest of Tastes: The Menu Revealed!
The menu at The Beak and Barrel promises a culinary adventure for every palate, from young buccaneers to seasoned swashbucklers.  Â

For All Ages (Non-Alcoholic Sips):
The Treasure Trove: An imaginative blend of ube, lemon, and coconut, served with sweet treats like a vanilla cake plank, chocolate cannonball, and golden caramel popcorn. For those unfamiliar, ube is a vibrant purple yam from the Philippines, known for its earthy, milky, vanilla, coconut, and nutty flavor profile, often used in delightful desserts and drinks.  Â
The Cursed Treasure: A delicious take on cookies and cream, featuring coconut milk and cookie crumbs, topped with vanilla foam and a pirate’s gold cookie.  Â

For Adult Pirates (21+ Cocktails): The Beak and Barrel marks a significant evolution for Magic Kingdom, being the park's first dedicated lounge offering a full range of cocktails (with a maximum of two drinks per guest).  Â
Salty Seas mARRRgarita: This striking purple drink features Southeast Asian flavors, including ube, Lalo Blanco Tequila, Cointreau Liqueur, and lime.  Â

Lit Fuse: A tasty concoction featuring Los Siete Misterios Doba-Yej Mezcal, balanced with banana, coconut, and smoked chili bitters. Los Siete Misterios Doba-Yej is an artisanal mezcal known for its slight citrus character, a touch of bitterness, and subtle smoky notes, making it excellent neat or in cocktails.  Â
Plunderer’s Punch: Made with Kraken Black Spiced Rum, blackberry, vanilla, and a hint of citrus, this drink comes in a souvenir pirate skull mug (limited to one per guest!).  Â

Beers and Wines: Beer buccaneers will find exclusive draft beers like Victory Brewing Co. Pirate’s Paradise Blonde Ale and Wicked Weed Brewing Berried Treasure Session Sour, alongside popular bottled and canned lagers and IPAs. Wine connoisseurs can also "shiver their timbers" with wine by the glass options from across the seven seas, including Spice Route 'Chakalaka' Red Blend, Quinta de Santiago Vinho Verde, and Viarae Prosecco.  Â

Delicious Bites:
Kraken's Catch: An adventurous cold salad featuring marinated octopus tentacles, olives, bell peppers, avocado, and a sophisticated piquillo pepper-almond foam. For the uninitiated, "espuma" or foam is a culinary technique used to add flavor and lightness to dishes, often found in fine dining.  Â
Cook’s Corn Griddle Cakes: Warm corn cakes stuffed with melted cheese, lime sour cream, and chili peppers, topped with cotija cheese. Guests can choose between roasted corn and poblano peppers or chipotle-braised chicken.  Â
Island Provisions: A shareable dish inspired by Caribbean and Central American flavors, featuring plantain chips, blue corn tortillas, and toasted flatbread served with various savory dips.  Â
