It's time to get spooky! Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party is back at Disney California Adventure park on select nights from August 17 to October 31, 2025. What’s Included in Your Ticket?

Your Oogie Boogie Bash ticket isn't just for the party; it also includes early admission to California Adventure park as early as 3:00 p.m., which is three hours before the official party start time at 6:00 p.m. This gives you plenty of time to enjoy regular park attractions and soak in the Halloween atmosphere before the special event begins.

One of the best perks of the bash is unlimited digital downloads of all your Disney PhotoPass photos taken during the event. You can access your pictures by scanning the QR code on your event wristband via the Disneyland app and download them to your MyDisney account for up to 45 days. You'll also receive a commemorative event guide, which is a great keepsake to remember your spooky night.

Costume Guidelines and Tips

Everyone is encouraged to get into the spirit by dressing in costume! While creativity is key, there are some important guidelines to keep in mind to ensure a safe and fun environment for all guests. Costumes must be family-friendly and not obstructive, offensive, or violent. Guests 14 and older are not permitted to wear masks that cover the entire face, and costumes that drag on the ground are discouraged.

For those who want to go all out, Tenaya Stone Spa at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa offers character-inspired hair and makeup services. If a themed shirt or sweater is more your style, you'll find plenty of Halloween merchandise, like the Mickey Mouse Family Halloween Collection and The Haunted Mansion Collection, available at the resort. Remember to wear comfortable shoes and bring a sweater for when the evening breeze rolls in!

Special Activities and Entertainment

Get ready for a night of tricks and treats! The event features 12 immersive treat trails where you can collect candy and other goodies. But be prepared, you might run into some iconic Disney Villains along the way! The treat trails also offer allergy-friendly and no-sugar-added options.

The "Frightfully Fun Parade" is a must-see, with two performances nightly. Led by the Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow, this cavalcade features Jack Skellington and other happy haunts. For an extra fee, you can book the Oogie Boogie Bash Dessert Party, which includes preferred parade seating, delicious treats, beverages, and a collectible pin.

For a truly immersive experience, don't miss Villains Grove at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. This walkthrough experience uses mystical lights and sounds to transport you into the auras of Dr. Facilier, Frollo, and Scar.

Food, Rides, and Merchandise

Oogie Boogie Bash is a great time to enjoy popular rides with shorter wait times. Be sure to check out attractions like Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark!, Toy Story Midway Mania!, and Incredicoaster.

You'll also find some exclusive treats and savory bites, like Loaded Buffalo Chicken Fries at Flo's V8 Cafe and a Ube Hot Chocolate with Vanilla Vodka at Cozy Cone Motel. You can even grab a new souvenir, the Mayor Sipper from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, available at various locations throughout the park. And for some exclusive event merchandise, be sure to stop by Elias & Co., Gone Hollywood, or Seaside Souvenirs for items featuring Oogie Boogie himself.
