Kali River Rapid's Reopening Date Has Been Announced

Is it warm enough to get absolutely soaked? Well Disney must think it is getting warm enough. Walt Disney World's Animal Kingdom contains one of Disney World's most wet attraction, Kali River Rapids. This attraction originally closed in early January due to the colder weather and lower crowds since the holiday rush was over.

On March 14th, 2025, Kali River Rapids is set to reopen from it's refurbishment. This refurbishment happens every year due to lower temps and outdoor water areas.

This attraction positioned in the Asia section of Disney's Animal Kingdom is one that the park has been missing dearly. This attraction helps alleviate a lot of the crowds throughout Animal Kingdom, especially with Dinoland USA being under almost total construction now.

Consider a poncho when riding, because this 12 person large raft ride will send you down rapids to get soaked! Are you ready for warmer weather and water rides yet?
