Okay, fellow Halloween fanatics, can you feel it in the air? That little whisper of autumn, the sudden craving for candy corn, the undeniable urge to start planning your most epic costume? Well, get ready to dial up the spooky vibes because Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is officially making its grand return to Magic Kingdom in 2025!

For those in the know, you understand the magic that descends upon Cinderella Castle on those special fall evenings. The usual Disney soundtrack gets a delightfully eerie twist, shadows dance in the twilight, and even the Haunted Mansion seems to be having extra fun. It's a whole different world, a chance to embrace the slightly spooky side of Disney, and trust me, it's utterly enchanting.

For those who haven't experienced it, picture this: it's a separate ticketed event, meaning the crowds are lighter, the atmosphere is electric, and the offerings are all Halloween, all the time. We're talking exclusive entertainment you won't see anywhere else, treats that go beyond your everyday theme park snacks, photo ops that scream (in a good way!) "Halloween," and merchandise you'll want to hoard like a dragon with its gold. Oh, and did I mention the characters? They're out in force, some in their own festive finery!

Mark Your Calendars, My Ghoulish Friends!

The 2025 party dates are locked in, running from August 15th all the way through Halloween night, October 31st. Now, these aren't every single night, so you'll want to peek at the official calendar to pinpoint your perfect spooky soirée.

Here's the breakdown to help you plot your haunting:

  • August: 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26, 29 (Mostly Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays!)

  • September: 2, 5, 7, 9, 12, 14, 16, 19, 21, 23, 25, 26, 28, 30 (Tuesdays, Fridays, Sundays, plus a Thursday on the 25th!)

  • October: 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 10, 13, 14, 16, 17, 19, 23, 24, 26, 28, 30, 31 (Get ready for Fridays, Saturdays, most Mondays, and some Tuesdays and Wednesdays!)

Pro Tip: These parties are popular! If you have a specific date in mind, especially closer to Halloween, snag those tickets early.

Meet and Greet Mayhem (The Fun Kind!)

Character meet-and-greets are a huge part of the party, and this year promises some extra special encounters. Get ready to say "Well, hello there!" to Jack and Sally Skellington – a must-do for any Nightmare Before Christmas fan. And for the first time ever at the party, Mickey and Minnie will be greeting guests together in their Halloween costumes at Town Square Theater! How adorable is that?

Keep your eyes peeled for other character appearances, including some Disney Villains who might just be lurking around, ready for a delightfully devious photo op.

Ticket Information

For those staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green, you can grab your tickets starting May 15th. For everyone else, mark May 22nd on your calendars – that's when general ticket sales begin.

And good news for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members – discounts are available again this year!

You can even get a head start on the fun! Party guests can enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 PM, even though the official party doesn't kick off until 7:00 PM. That's a whole three extra hours of park magic before the spooky festivities even begin!

Candy, Costumes, and Cavalcade of Fun!

Let's be honest, for many of us, Halloween isn't complete without a hefty haul of candy. Mickey's Not-So-Scary delivers in a big way, with over a dozen trick-or-treat spots scattered throughout the park. And this year, rumor has it that some familiar (and maybe a little mischievous) faces will be popping up along the treat trails to surprise you!

Don't worry about bringing your own pumpkin bucket – you'll get a complimentary treat bag to fill with all those Mars Wrigley goodies. And for those with allergies, Disney has you covered with teal bags and allergy-friendly treat locations.

While costumes aren't mandatory for trick-or-treating, they're definitely part of the fun! Get creative with your Disney-themed attire, but be sure to check the official costume guidelines before you go.

And speaking of spectacles, get ready for the return of the Mickey's Boo-to-You Halloween Parade! This whimsical parade features Mickey and his pals in their Halloween best, along with waltzing ghosts, Disney Princesses, and some wonderfully wicked villains. Keep an eye out for rare characters like Pain & Panic and Vanellope – it's a true Halloween treat for the eyes! The parade will step off at 8:15 PM in 2025.

Then there's the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular! If you're a fan of the Sanderson Sisters (and who isn't?), you absolutely cannot miss this hilarious and slightly spooky stage show. Winifred, Mary, and Sarah are back, trying to cast a spell with a little "help" from some of Disney's most notorious villains. Get ready to clap, sing along, and maybe even help stir the cauldron!

As the night creeps towards its climax, prepare to be wowed by Disney's Not So Spooky Spectacular. Hosted by the Pumpkin King himself, Jack Skellington, this fireworks and projection show transforms Cinderella Castle into a haunted house. Watch as Mickey and his friends navigate a spooky world filled with spiderwebs, skeletons, and even a few larger-than-life villains like Ursula and Oogie Boogie. It's a breathtaking finale to a spooktacular night.

But Wait, There's More!

Keep an eye out for some of your favorite rides getting a Halloween-themed overlay with special lighting and music. And get ready to groove at a brand-new dance party featuring music from "Zombies 4" and other "Zombies" hits! Plus, the Cadaver Dans will be back with their hauntingly beautiful harmonies.

And of course, it wouldn't be a Disney party without delicious food and exclusive merchandise! Get ready for a new menu of Halloween-themed treats and drinks, along with commemorative party merchandise to remember your not-so-scary adventure.

So, are you feeling the Halloween spirit yet? Start planning those costumes, mark those calendars, and get ready for a frightfully fun time at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in 2025! Stay tuned for more details as they materialize – we'll keep you updated on all the spooky surprises in store!
