There’s something timeless and magical about simply walking through Disneyland Resort — the laughter, the music, the scent of churros wafting through the air. But in 2025, there's even more joy and nostalgia in store as Disneyland celebrates its 70th anniversary with a host of enchanting new experiences.

Whether you're a longtime fan or planning your very first visit, this milestone celebration is packed with immersive entertainment, interactive tech, and unforgettable photo opportunities. Here’s everything you need to know to make the most of the Disneyland 70th Anniversary.

New Disneyland Guided Tour Celebrates 70 Years of Magic

One of the highlights of this celebration is a brand-new experience for history buffs and Disney superfans alike: A Story of Celebration: 70th Anniversary Guided Tour.

As you stroll through Main Street, U.S.A., Adventureland, Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, and Frontierland, don’t forget your MagicBand+! For the 70th anniversary, guests with MagicBand+ will unlock exclusive interactive experiences at five magical locations across the park.

Expect nostalgic effects and unique surprises inspired by Disneyland’s opening day attractions — a perfect blend of retro charm and modern tech.

Vote with Your Emotions in World of Color Happiness!

There’s more than just magic in the air — there's audience participation, too! Before the evening’s first performance of World of Color Happiness!, guests at California Adventure can vote via the Disneyland app for one of four Emotions — Sadness, Anger, Disgust, or Envy — to be featured in special scenes during the show.

Be sure to enable push notifications and location services to participate and shape the magic yourself.
